Here is a reminder of the rental agreement
Rental Agreement: Carpenter’s Cabin, Twelve34 House, GloCabin (Forward Rentals, Ltd)
By placing a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following rental policies. You are renting our personal vacation home. MAKE SURE ALL GUESTS ON THE RESERVATION UNDERSTAND THESE RULES. As the booking individual, you are responsible for all damages and charges.
ONLY GUESTS LISTED ON THE RESERVATION are allowed on the property. Breaking this rule can get you immediately removed without a refund.
No Pets
Motorcycles/ATVs/Firearms/Fireworks/Sparklers are not permitted at any time.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times
For the safety of our pine forest, NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABIN, ON DECKS, OR ON OUR 32 ACRES. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes, MARIJUANA, etc.
Do Not Leave the Fire Pit Unattended During Flame or Smolder. Do not use logs longer than 24”. Logs must be burned to ash. DO NOT REMOVE LOGS FROM THE FIRE PIT. DO NOT PUT LOGS OR ASHES IN THE DUMPSTER.
No BATTERIES in the dumpster.
Do Not Sit On the Hot Tub Cover. Hot tub use is at your own risk. Use the supplied hot tub towels, not bath towels. Rinse before entering. Lower the temperature to 98 degrees and secure the Cover when finished. No glass near the hot tub. A minimum $150 charge for a callout that is determined to be user error or misuse, plus damages.
Do LEAN ON or PUT WEIGHT AGAINST the Perch railing in the Carpenter's Cabin. It is not meant for support.
NO BACHELOR OR BACHELORETTE PARTIES. Evidence of a party can result in immediate eviction without refund and/or a fine of $500.
Guests do see the occasional wild animal - deer, wolves, bobcats, coyotes, wild turkeys, and snakes are possible, and bears have been spotted in the area. Please be mindful. Spiders and other small creatures lived here first, and continue to do so.
An inspection of the cabin will be completed after your departure. Any damage caused by the guests to the cabin or property will be documented. Regardless of the nature of the damage, if damages are made during your stay, the renter will pay to replace/repair damaged assets, and lost revenue for repair downtime will be charged to the renter. Missing items will be billed accordingly.
No Refunds will be given for: Loss of electricity, internet, or other services out of our control. Occasionally, appliances or other amenities may require maintenance and/or repair. We will service or replace these amenities as quickly as possible, but no rental concession or refunds will be given for time without the use of these items.
Each rule violation will incur a $350 charge + cost of damages
Liability: Renters agree to assume all responsibility for any accident, injury, or damage that may result within the cabin and on the property, to persons or property, and that the property owners shall not be held liable, or responsible for such injury, accident, or damage. Guest assumes the risk involved with use of the cabin and its property, and all associated rental facilities, and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the owner and Forward Rentals, LTD from any and all claims and liability of any nature that may arise by reason of the use of the same renter or others using the same. Damages caused by the guest will be paid for by the guest. Should legal action be necessary, guest is responsible for legal fees incurred by Forward Rentals, Ltd, and will take place in the state of Ohio, Hancock County.
