The Carpenter’s Cabin is dedicated to the memory of a resourceful and gifted carpenter, my father.
Known for its stunning architecture and unique conversation pit, the Carpenter's Cabin is truly unlike any other. From the peaceful location, to the luxury organic amenities, to personality built-in throughout the design, the Carpenter's Cabin is the perfect backdrop for your vacation memories.
NEW for 2024 - the Jaybird Fort for kiddos!
With a small footprint of just 934sf, the Carpenter's Cabin explodes to over 1700sf of interior living space across its four stories. You'll find two owners' suites - one with private third story screened deck and one with a slider to the second story deck, a main floor bunk room with a twin-over-full arrangement, a lower level bunk room with full-over-full, and a twin alcove bed in the loft library. Three full baths, two media rooms, workspace, and a full kitchen and dining area round out the interiors.
Three generously deep, covered decks, a patio, fire pit, and hot tub extend your pleasure to the outdoors. And don't forget to explore our trail and 32 acres!

A 50% deposit is required to book with the balance collected 15 days prior to check-in.
We have a strict no-smoking policy inside the cabin and on our 32 acres of pine forest. This includes vaping and controlled substances. We do not allow pets, the use of firearms, fireworks, or explosives of any type. No parties including bachelor/bachelorette. No outside guests. No third party bookings.
7 days prior to check-in a security deposit hold will be placed on your credit card. It will be released 3 days post checkout after an assessment of the cabin has been completed.
Our refund policy is a full refund up to 30 days prior to check-in, 50% on days 15-30, minus credit card processing fees, and no refunds inside of 15 days unless we are able to rebook the space. In this case, a rebooking fee of $125 will be retained.
We recommend travel insurance which can be purchased during booking.
Our security camera ensures the guest count on the reservation matches those who arrive at the cabin. The security camera offers safety to our guests as well as our property, tampering is grounds for immediate removal without refund.
