The Carpenter's Cabin is a four-story Hocking Hills retreat designed for families and groups who want room to gather without sacrificing privacy. Set on our 32 private wooded acres, it's known for its iconic conversation pit, multiple covered decks, The Nest, Jaybird Fort, private trails, and spaces that make the house itself part of the getaway.

A 50% deposit is required to book, with the balance collected 15 days before check-in.
We have a strict no-smoking policy inside the cabin and on our 32 acres of pine forest. This includes vaping and controlled substances. We do not allow pets, firearms, fireworks, sparklers, or any explosives. No parties, including bachelor/bachelorette. No outside guests. No third-party bookings.
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in; 50% for cancellations made 15-30 days before check-in. No refunds inside of 15 days unless we can rebook the space.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking.
