Our aesthetic is modern though warm and cozy, with luxury organic and sustainable amenities. Perfect for families, couples, or individuals looking for an escape into nature while also enjoying upscale accommodations.

The contemporary, sustainably built cabin sits in the middle of a pine forest on 32 private, park-like wooded acres in Laurelville, Ohio, foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Explore the cabin property along with all the Hocking Hills has to offer. Approximately 5 minutes to downtown Laurelville and within a 15-20 minute drive to area attractions.

The cabin is easy to access from many major Midwest cities:

  • 1 hour from Columbus

  • Less than 2 hours from Dayton

  • Approximately 2 hours from Cincinnati

  • 3 hours from Cleveland

  • 3 hours from Toledo

  • 2.5 hours to Louisville

  • 3.5 hours from Pittsburgh

  • 3.5 hours from Indianapolis

The contemporary cabin has over 1700 square feet of finished interior space with four bedrooms and three baths.*See bed options below.

The main level includes two bedrooms - a master with contemporary wooden canopy bed has a patio door that leads to the expansive back deck and hot tub. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full built-in bunk.  These bedrooms share a full bath with double sinks, tub, and shower, and washer/dryer.  Each bedroom has a reading chair, bedside sconces, and nightstand/niches for your convenience.

Rounding out the main floor is stunning, black, full kitchen with concrete waterfall countertop and mirror backsplash - a beautiful contrast to the reclaimed barn wood floors. The dining area has a large table and views out expansive windows.

The most popular space in the cabin sits opposite the dining area and squarely in front of the 12' tall fireplace/tv wall - The Pit, as it is affectionately known, is the conversation pit offering 72sf of cozy seating.

The second level loft overlooks the dining and conversation pit below then beyond to the view of the pine forest. It boasts a library with alcove twin bed, a full bath, and, for those who can't tear themselves from work, a workspace.

A second, "owner's bedroom" offering 14' ceiling, custom platform bed with Naturepedic organic mattress and lambskin rugs has exclusive access to the third story screened deck, complete with organic chair hammocks. A coffee station, mini fridge, and small microwave make this the most desirable bedroom in the cabin.  This space, too, has a cozy reading chair, bedside sconces and nightstands.

The fourth level - yes, fourth! - is small, but fun. This special area is called The Perch because just like a bird in a cage, it has a swinging saucer bed (not for sleeping) that overlooks the library and conversation pit, but best of all it has views of the pine forest through the circular window on the front of the cabin.

The walkout lower level offers a cozy full-over-full bunk room, additional full bath, and media room, and is steps from the hot tub in the pines.
